• In 2GR, the line pressure (7) is applied to the right end of the piston. The line pressure overcomes spring force to move the piston to the left side. When the shift solenoid B turns OFF to shift to 3GR, 3-4 clutch application pressure (18) is applied to the left end of the piston by the 2-3 shift valve.
• As a result, the 2-3 accumulator piston moves to the right side, moderating a rapid increase in 3-4 clutch application pressure (18).
