Construction
• The water pump body is made of aluminum alloy and the impeller is built into the cylinder block for weight reduction.
• The drive belt tension is automatically adjusted by the tensioner.
Operation
• The water pump is driven by a V-ribbed belt off the pulley on the rear end of the intake camshaft in the cylinder head.
