Construction
• A wax-type thermostat with a jiggle-pin has been adopted. Additionally, stainless steel has been adopted on the thermostat body for excellent corrosion resistance.

Operation
• When the engine coolant temperature is below 77°C {171°F}, the thermostat stops the circulation of radiator coolant from the radiator to improve engine warming performance. When the engine coolant temperature is between 90-93°C {194-199°F}, the thermostat begins opening the valve and engine coolant flows to the radiator to stabilize engine coolant temperature.
