DTC P0325

Knock sensor (KS) circuit

DETECTION CONDITION

• The PCM monitors input signal from the KS when the engine is running. If the input voltage at PCM terminals between 57 and 87 is not within threshold, the PCM determines that the KS circuit has malfunction.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• KS malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
• Open circuit or short to ground in wiring harness between KS connector terminal and PCM terminal 57
• Open circuit or short to ground in wiring harness between KS connector terminal and PCM terminal 87
• Short KS two wires
