CHECK THE CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the cruise actuator connector.
Measure the resistance between the cruise actuator terminals E and F (harness-side) while depressing the cruise control switch as follows:
• Coast: 114 - 126 ohms
• SET/ACCEL: 646 - 714 ohms
• Resume: 2,090 - 2,310 ohms
• Off: less than 5 ohms
Are the cruise control switch resistance okay?

Yes

Install a new cruise actuator.
Inspect the system for normal operation.
