ACCELERATOR CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)]

1. Remove the plug hole plate.

2. Rotate the throttle lever and remove the accelerator cable end from the throttle lever.

3. Detach the accelerator cable from the bracket.

4. Detach the accelerator cable from the panel.

Caution

• Do not pull out the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable housing.

5. Remove the accelerator cable.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Plug hole plate installation nut tightening torque
