CATALYTIC CONVERTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)]

1. Lift up the vehicle.

2. Remove the exhaust manifold insulator.

3. Remove the HO2S. (See HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)].)

4. Disconnect the EGR pipe.

5. Remove the nuts and dispose of them.

6. Remove the catalytic converter.

• Dispose of the gasket.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

• Install a new gasket.

• Install the new nuts.
