CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)]

1. Lift up the vehicle.

2. Remove the front lower splash shield installation bolts.

3. Remove the front lower splash shield.

4. Disconnect the CKP sensor connector.

5. Remove the CKP sensor installation bolts.

6. Remove the CKP sensor.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

CKP sensor installation bolt tightening torque.

10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 89 in·lbf}

Front lower splash shield installation bolt tightening torque

9 N·m {92 kgf·cm, 80 in·lbf}
