KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)]

Note

• The knock sensor is installed on the right side of the cylinder block.

1. Disconnect the knock sensor connector.

2. Remove the knock sensor installation bolt.

3. Remove the knock sensor.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Knock sensor installation tightening torque.

25 N·m {2.5 kgf·m, 18 ft·lbf}
