THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)]

1. Remove the plug hole plate installation nuts and the plug hole plate.

2. Disconnect the TP sensor connector.

3. Remove the TP sensor installation screws.

4. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

TP sensor installation screw tightening torque

3 N·m {31 kgf·cm, 27 in·lbf}

Plug hole plate installation nut tightening torque

6 N·m {61 kgf·cm, 53 in·lbf}
