ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 R.H.D.]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the splash shield.

3. Remove the engine coolant.

4. Disconnect the ECT sensor connector.

5. Remove the ECT sensor.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

ECT sensor tightening torque

10-14 N·m {102-142 kgf·cm, 89-123 in·lbf}
