POWER STEERING PRESSURE (PSP) SWITCH INSPECTION [L3 R.H.D.]

Continuity Inspection

Note

• Before performing the following inspection, make sure to follow the procedure as indicated in the troubleshooting flowchart. (See Troubleshooting Procedure.)

1. Inspect the following items:

• Power steering fluid level (See POWER STEERING FLUID INSPECTION.)

• Power steering-related inspections

2. Disconnect the PSP switch connector.

3. Start the engine.

4. Using a tester, verify that the continuity between the PSP switch terminal and the body ground is as shown in the table below.

• If there is no malfunction, perform the Circuit Open/Short Inspection.

• If there is a malfunction, replace the PSP switch.
