INSPECT VEHICLE CONDITION
• Has the vehicle been towed with wheels not on the ground within the past two weeks?
Yes
• Clear the DTC from the memory and perform the self-test.
No
• Go to the next step.

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
• Measure the voltage between the battery positive terminal and negative terminal.
• Is the voltage between 9-19 V?
Yes
• Go to the next step.
No
• Charge or replace the battery. Clear the DTC from the memory and perform the self-test.

INSPECT CHARGING SYSTEM
• Start the engine and idle it at 2,000 rpm, and measure the voltage between the battery positive terminal and negative terminal.
• Is the voltage between 9-19 V?
Yes
• Go to the next step.
No
• Repair the charging system. Clear the DTC from the memory and perform the self-test.

INSPECT ABS HU/CM TERMINAL O VOLTAGE
• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the ABS HU/CM connectors.
• Measure the voltage between the ABS HU/CM terminal and ground.
• Is the voltage more than 10 V?
Yes
• Go to the next step.
No
• Repair or replace the wiring harness and clear the DTC from the memory. Repeat the self-test.

INSPECT ABS HU/CM TERMINAL C VOLTAGE
• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Measure the voltage between the ABS HU/CM terminal A and ground.
• Is the voltage more than 10 V?
Yes
• Go to the next step.
No
• Repair or replace the wiring harness and clear the DTC from the memory. Repeat the self-test.

INSPECT ABS HU/CM TERMINAL B VOLTAGE
• Measure the voltage between the ABS HU/CM terminal B and ground.
• Is the voltage more than 10 V?
Yes
• Go to the next step.
No
• Repair or replace the wiring harness and clear the DTC from the memory. Repeat the self-test.

INSPECT ABS HU/CM TERMINAL C AND D FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
• Measure the resistance between the ABS HU/CM terminal C and ground, and between ABS HU/CM terminal D and ground.
• Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
• Replace the ABS HU/CM.
Clear the DTC from the memory. Repeat the self-test.
No
• Repair or replace the wiring harness and clear the DTC from the memory. Repeat the self-test.
