|
Control Valve Body
• Do any of the following malfunctions exist?
-
- Bolts are not tightened to the specification
-
- Gaskets are damaged
-
- Low/reverse modulator valve, coasting clutch valve are stuck damaged, or misassembled
-
- 3-2T/CCS is stuck or damaged
-
- Hydraulic passages are damaged
-
- Pressure tap plate/gasket is damaged
-
- Separator plate/gasket is damaged

Service if necessary

No

Go to the next step

|
Oil pump
• Does the following malfunction exist?
-
- Pump support seal rings #2 and #3 for the coast clutch circuit are damaged or missing

Yes

Service if necessary

No

Go to the next step

|
Coasting clutch component
• Do any of the following malfunctions exist?
-
- Component misassembled or damaged
-
- Forward clutch hub seal is damaged
-
- Piston or seals are damaged
-
- Inspect the ball for damage or missing

Yes

Service if necessary

No
|
Go to the next step

|
Low/reverse clutch component
• Do any of the following malfunctions exist?
-
- Misassembled
-
- Damaged
-
- Piston or seals are damaged

Yes
|
Service if necessary

No
|
The problem is resolved
|

• Verify the test results.
-
- If normal, return to the diagnostic index to service any additional symptoms.
-
- If the malfunction remains, inspect the related Service Bulletins and/or On-line Repair Information and perform repair or diagnosis.
-
• If the vehicle is repaired, troubleshooting is completed.
-
• If the vehicle is not repaired or additional diagnostic information is not available, replace the PCM.
