CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal.

2. Remove the clutch pedal bracket nut.

3. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder hose from the clutch master cylinder and plug it to prevent excess fluid loss.

Warning
• Brake fluid contains polyglycol ethers and polyglycols. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If brake fluid contacts eyes, flush eyes with running water for 15 min. Get medical attention if irritation persists. If taken internally, drink water and induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
Caution
• Be careful not to spill clutch fluid on a painted surface. If this should happen, wash it off immediately.

4. Disconnect the clutch release cylinder tube from the clutch master cylinder.

5. Remove the clutch master cylinder.

(1) Remove the clutch master cylinder nut.
(2) Remove the clutch master cylinder.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

7. After installation, bleed the air from the clutch system.
