1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Disconnect the shift lock relay connector.

3. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

• If not as specified, replace the shift lock relay.

4. Connect the shift lock relay connector.

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
