SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the steering column upper cover.

3. Remove the steering column lower cover.

(1) Remove the screws.

(2) Remove the steering column lower cover.

4. Disconnect the selector lever connector.

5. Inspect for continuity between selector lever terminals H and G.

• If there is no continuity, replace the selector lever.

6. Connect the selector lever connector.

7. Install the steering column lower cover.

(1) Install the steering column lower cover.

(2) Install the screws.

8. Install the steering column upper cover.

9. Connect the negative battery cable.
