RETURN HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0 L Zetec), (AJ (3.0 L Duratec)]

Removal/Installation

1. Disconnect the power steering return line from the steering gear.

Note

• Drain excess power steering fluid into an appropriate container.

• Do not drop the O-ring seal.

2. Release the clamp, then disconnect and remove the power steering return line.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Note

• Verify that the O-ring seal is installed on the power steering return line.

4. Add power steering fluid, bleed the system, and then inspect the system for leakage.
