AIR FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Note

• There are two types of cabin air filters (normal type, aldehyde deodorizer type), one of them is installed.

• When installing aldehyde deodorizer type in the cooling unit, replace the normal type.

• Replace the cabin air filter once a year or after every 20,000 km {12,500 miles}, depending on operating conditions.

Normal Type

1. Remove the cowl grille.

(1) Remove the screws.

(2) Raise the bonnet to increase clearance and remove the cowl grille.

2. Remove the inner cover panel by tilting the front edge up then lifting out.

3. Remove the filter.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Aldehyde Deodorizer Type

1. Remove the cabin air filter from the bottom of the cooling unit.

(1) Remove the screws.

(2) Remove the rubber sheet and remove the cabin air filter.

Note

• Even new filters are gray; be careful not to mistake the gray color as dirt.

2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
