1	VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED KEYS • Using the WDS or equivalent, perform the PID/data monitor inspection and confirm the number of programmed keys. (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (PATS)(L3)].) • Are two or more keys programmed? Note • Two or more keys need to be programmed to start the engine.	Yes	Replace the PCM and perform the resetting procedure for the immobilizer system when replacing the PCM. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (PATS) COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [L3].)
1		No	• Using the WDS or equivalent, clear the key ID number and program a new key if necessary. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (PATS) COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [L3].) • Go to the next step.
2	Verify if any DTCs are displayed. • Using the programmed key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. • Is the DTC displayed again? - Security light: 21 - WDS or equivalent: B1213	Yes	Replace the PCM and perform the resetting procedure for the immobilizer system when replacing the PCM. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (PATS) COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [L3].)
2		No	DTC inspection completed.
