1. Operate the headlight and verify the malfunction indicated by the customer.
2. Perform visual inspection for obvious mechanical and electrical malfunctions. Refer to the following chart.

3. If any obvious mechanical and electrical malfunction is detected, repair as necessary.
4. If the cause of malfunction is not detected by visual inspection, connect the WDS or equivalent, and perform DTC inspection.
5. If any DTC related to the malfunction is read, refer to "DTC TABLE [HALOGEN HEADLIGHT]" and continue malfunction diagnosis.
6. If any DTC related to the malfunction is not read, refer to "SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART [HALOGEN HEADLIGHT]" and continue malfunction diagnosis.
