INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH POWER SUPPLY
Disconnect the hazard warning switch connector.
Measure the voltage at hazard warning switch terminal B.
Is the voltage more than 10 V?

Yes

Go to Step 3.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS CONNECTION
Disconnect the flasher control module connector.
Measure the resistance between flasher control module terminal H and hazard warning switch terminal B.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Replace the flasher control module.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.
|

INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH GROUND
Measure the resistance between hazard warning switch terminal D and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
|
Yes
|
Replace the hazard warning switch.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.
|
|
