INSPECT VOLTAGE IN RELATED WIRING HARNESS
Disconnect the power outer mirror switch connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Verify that the voltage at power outer mirror switch terminal C is 10 V or more.

Yes

Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness, then go to the next step.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Measure the resistance between power outer mirror switch terminal E and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harnesses, then go to the next step.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESSES FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Measure the resistance between the driver-side power outer mirror terminal H and power outer mirror switch terminal G.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Replace the power outer mirror switch.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.
|
