• Malfunction in the headlight leveling actuator (RH)

INSPECTION
ACTION

INSPECT POWER SUPPLY TO HEADLIGHT LEVELING ACTUATOR
Disconnect the headlight leveling actuator (RH) connector.
Turn the headlight to the ON position.
Measure the voltage at headlight leveling actuator (RH) terminal C.
Does the voltage exceed
10 V
?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT HEADLIGHT LEVELING ACTUATOR (RH) GROUND CIRCUIT
Measure the resistance between the headlight leveling actuator (RH) terminal B and ground.
Is the resistance less than
5 ohms
?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT HEADLIGHT LEVELING (RH) CONTROL CIRCUIT
Disconnect the headlight leveling switch connector.
Measure the resistance between the headlight leveling switch terminal B and headlight leveling actuator (RH) terminal D.
Is the resistance less than
5 ohms
?
Yes
Replace the headlight leveling actuator (RH).
No
Repair the related wiring harness.
