INSPECT ILLUMINATION OPERATION
Turn the light switch to the TNS position.
Do the instrument cluster, climate control unit, audio unit, rear window defroster switch, and hazard warning switch illuminate correctly?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|

No
|
Go to Step 4.
|

|
INSPECT ILLUMINATION POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Disconnect the front fog light switch connector.
Measure the voltage at front fog light switch terminal A (harness-side).
Is the voltage 10 V or more?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness. Inspect the system for normal operation.
|
|

|
INSPECT ILLUMINATION GROUND CIRCUIT
Measure the resistance between front fog light switch terminal B (harness-side) and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
|
Yes
|
Replace the front fog light switch. Inspect the system for normal operation.
|
|
No
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness. Inspect the system for normal operation.
|

|
INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION
Inspect the instrument cluster connector.
Is the connector normal?
|
Yes
|
Operate the system and inspect for any malfunction. If the malfunction is still present, replace the instrument cluster. Inspect the system for normal operation.

No
|
Repair or replace the wiring harness. Inspect the system for normal operation.
|
