1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Perform visual inspection for obvious electrical malfunction.

3. If the malfunction is still present after the inspection, connect the WDS or equivalent to the DLC-2, then perform the network test. If the WDS or equivalent does not communicate with the vehicle, go to "No.8 MODULE/NETWORK DOES NOT ESTABLISH COMMUNICATION-POWER IS NOT SUPPLIED TO WDS OR EQUIVALENT."
