POWER WINDOW MOTOR INITIAL SETTING PROCEDURE

Caution

• Do not perform the power window motor initial setting procedure when replacing the power window regulator with a new one since the initial setting procedure has been already performed.

• Do not perform the Step 1 and 2 when replacing only the power window motor since the initial setting procedure has been already performed.

1. Apply battery positive voltage to power window motor terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground. Operate the motor output axis in the up direction 6 times or more (4 s or more).

2. Position the glass installation hole of the carrier plate within 190-220 mm {7.5-8.6 in} from the lower end of the frame (where the glass can be installed).

3. Install power window motor to the frame.

4. Install the power window regulator to the front door.

5. Install the front door glass to the power window regulator.

6. Connect the power window motor connector.

7. Connect the negative battery cable.

8. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

9. Close the glass using the power window switch.
