LIFTGATE KEY CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

• Individual lock cylinders are repaired by discarding the inoperative cylinder and assembling a new lock cylinder using the appropriate lock repair unit.The lock repair unit includes a detailed instruction sheet to assemble the new lock cylinder to the current key code of the vehicle.

1. Remove the liftgate trim.

2. Remove the liftgate key cylinder.

(1) Disconnect the rod.

(2) Remove the nuts.

(3) Remove the key cylinder.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
