LIFTGATE LATCH REMOTE CONTROLLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the liftgate trim.

2. Disconnect the liftgate key cylinder rod.

(1) Release the clip.

(2) Disconnect the rod.

3. Disconnect the liftgate latch remote control rod.

(1) Open the clip and disconnect the rear glass latch rod.

(2) Open the clip and disconnect the liftgate latch rod.

4. Disconnect the connector.

(1) Disconnect the liftgate latch connector.

(2) Release the rear glass latch switch harness locator.

5. Remove the liftgate latch remote controller component.

(1) Remove the screws.

(2) Remove the nut.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

(1) Transfer all necessary component parts.
