METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the glove compartment.

(1) Press the stopper inward while opening the glove compartment.

3. Disconnect the temperature control cable. (LHD vehicles)

(1) Position the locator pin.

(2) Release the locking tab.

(3) Disconnect the temperature control cable from the blend door shaft.

4. Remove the meter hood.

(1) Remove the screws.

(2) Remove the meter hood.

(3) Disconnect the connector.

Caution

• When disconnecting the power outer mirror switch connector, be sure to disengage the clips. Failure to disengage the clips may result in damage to the switch.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
