IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

• The figure shows a L.H.D. vehicle. The procedure for R.H.D. vehicles is the same.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the steering column upper cover.

3. Remove the steering column lower cover.

(1) Remove the screws.

(2) Remove the steering column lower cover.

4. Disconnect the ignition switch connector.

5. Remove the ignition switch.

Note

• Tilt the steering column to the lowest position.

(1) Press the two tabs.

(2) Remove the ignition switch.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
