In November 1983, a modified oil pump drive (B) has been installed.. The driving sleeve (319) now has two grooves and the external tooth gear (301) two lugs (arrows, previously two flats). See Figure 1.
Repair Notes
The modified oil pump drive is available as an assembly (internal tooth gear, external tooth gear, driving sleeve). The driving sleeve is also available separately. Modified and previous drive assemblies are not interchangeable.
The timing chain housing cover is also available with the modified oil pump drive assembly built in.
