Normal Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) uses the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor or the cylinder head temperature sensor (CHT) to measure the engine coolant temperature through circuit 354 (LG/RD) or 1105 (YE/LB) respectively. The PCM provides the engine coolant temperature data to the instrument cluster over the communication network.
