1. Temporarily install the friction damper into the reverse idler gear shaft.
2. Install the reverse idler gear and the needle roller bearing into the reverse idler gear shaft.
3. Insert the needle roller bearing and the reverse idler gear until reaching the place where the step on the reverse idler gear shaft is.
