Door Trim Panel

Front Door Trim Panel:

FRONT DOOR

NOTICE: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a screwdriver, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Switch plate.
3. Armrest pad by lifting and disengaging retaining clips.
4. Reflector and retaining screw.
5. Two screws.
6. Five armrest screws.
7. Door lock switch.
8. Shoulder belt escutcheon.
9. Two screws.
10. Pop off trim cover and remote mirror control.
11. Pull handle screws.
12. Trim panel retainers.

Install or Connect

1. Pop trim panel retainers into place.
2. Pull handle screws.
3. Remote mirror control and trim cover.
4. Two screws.
5. Shoulder belt escutcheon.
6. Door lock switch.
7. Five armrest screws.
8. Two screws.
9. Reflector and screw.
10. Armrest pad.
11. Switch plate.
12. Negative battery cable.
