Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Battery Replacement) .
4. Remove the batter tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement) .




6. From inside the rear compartment, press the retaining tabs (1) while pushing outward in order to release the pressure relief valve (2) from the rear quarter panel.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the pressure relief valve (2) to the opening in the rear quarter panel.
2. Press inward on the pressure relief valve until the retaining tabs (1) engage to secure the pressure relief valve (2) to the rear quarter panel.
3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement) .
4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Battery Replacement) .
6. Install the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair) .
