Diagnosis information - DME (DFI)

Position of crankshaft with respect to intake camshaft, bank 2

NOTE: The fault is detected if the specified adaptation range is left (more than 13 ° crank angle).

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage between 9 V and 16 V
- Time after engine starts more than 10 seconds

Possible fault causes
- Chain extended
- Camshaft timing gear undone/loose
- Wrong camshaft installed e.g. 3.6 l x 3.8 l)
