9. Rear Internal Gear Assembly Assemble

REAR INTERNAL GEAR ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLE

^ TOOLS REQUIRED
- J 45185 Bore Gage Set





IMPORTANT: Measure at different locations and average the measurement. If the average measurement is not within specifications, replace rear internal gear bushing.

1. Using Bore Gage Set J45185, measure inner diameter of rear internal gear bushing.
2. Using a micrometer, measure Bore Gauge Set J45185 reading.





IMPORTANT: Measure at different locations and average the measurement. If the average measurement is not within specifications, replace front sun gear bushing.

3. Using the Bore Gauge Set J45185, measure inner diameter of the front sun gear bushing.
4. Using a micrometer, measure Bore Gauge Set J45185 reading.





IMPORTANT: Measure at different locations and average the measurement. If the average measurement is not within specifications, replace rear sun gear bushing.

5. Using Bore Gauge Set J45185, measure inner diameter of rear sun gear bushing.
6. Using micrometer, measure Bore Gauge Set J45185 reading.





7. Install front sun gear into front carrier assembly.





8. Install a new front sun gear retaining ring into groove of front sun gear.
