Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement - Vertical

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket).




2. Remove the outer side trim from the seat cushion. Refer to Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Inner) (Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Inner))Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Outer) (Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Outer)).




3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the motor on the power seat height adjuster.
4. Remove the screws from the height adjuster motor and remove the motor.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the wiring harness to the seat height adjuster motor.
2. Position the motor to the seat adjuster while pushing on the seat cushion to align the motor gears to the seat adjuster.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the seat motor screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).




4. Install the outer side trim to the seat cushion. Refer to Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Inner) (Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Inner))Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Outer) (Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front (Outer))
5. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket).
