Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet (L81)

^ Tools Required
- SA9111E Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the coolant.





3. Compress the clamp which secures the upper radiator hose to the engine.Slide the hose off of the engine fitting. Leave the clamp on the fitting.





4. Using SA9111E, remove the upper radiator hose clamp.
5. Remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator.

Installation Procedure





Important: The engine end of the hose is labeled to prevent reverse installation.

1. The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.
Compress the upper radiator hose to the engine clamp.
2. Install the hose onto the engine fitting to the 12 o'clock position.





3. Install the upper radiator hose to the radiator.
4. Using SA9111E, install the upper radiator hose clamp to the 12 o'clock position.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Fill the cooling system.
