Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (L81)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the battery.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove the clamp which secures the lower radiator hose to the engine block.
4. Remove the lower radiator hose from the engine block.





5. Remove the upper transaxle cooler line from the radiator.





6. Remove the lower radiator hose clamp.
7. Remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
8. Remove the clamp which secures the lower radiator hose to the wiring harness.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the lower radiator hose to the engine block fitting.

Important: The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.

2. Install the lower radiator hose clamp at the 1 o'clock position.





3. Install the lower radiator hose to the radiator.

Important: The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.

4. Install the lower radiator hose clamp at the 11 o'clock position.





5. Install the lower radiator hose into the wiring harness clamp.
6. Install the outlet hose to the radiator.
7. Install the outlet hose clamp at the 12 o'clock position.





8. Install the upper transaxle cooler line to the radiator end tank.
^ Tighten the cooler line to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





9. Install the battery.
10. Install the fan control module by sliding down onto the bracket.
11. Fill the cooling system.
