Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the rear upper trim molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Window Upper (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the finish molding from the rear upper trim.
5. On the driver side, remove the fasteners from the load floor storage bin.
6. On the driver side, remove the load floor storage bin.
7. Remove the cargo hooks.
8. On the driver side, disconnect the accessory wire harness.
9. Pull at the clip locations to disengage the side trim panel from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the rear side trim panel to the vehicle. Place the trim under the seat belt webbing.
2. On the driver side, connect the accessory wire harness.
3. Push at the clip locations to secure the panel to the vehicle.
4. Secure the weatherstrip seal over the trim edge.
5. Install the lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper (Service and Repair).
6. Install the finish molding to the rear upper trim.
7. Install the rear upper trim molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Window Upper (Service and Repair).
8. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
9. Install the load floor storage bins.
Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).
10. Install the cargo hooks.
Tighten the fasteners to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
