Throttle Body Installation





1. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important: The powertrain control module (PCM) has to perform the idle learn process when the throttle body is replaced.

Install the studs (516), if required.
Tighten the studs to 7.8 Nm (69 inch lbs.).
2. Install the gasket (517) and throttle body (518).
3. Install the nuts (519) and bolts (555).
Tighten the nuts and bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
4. Install a NEW O-ring (713).
5. Install the MAP sensor (712) and bolt (711).
Tighten the bolt to 3.4 Nm (30 inch lbs.).
6. Install the throttle body coolant hoses.
