Axle Shaft Oil Seal Replacement (Right)

Tools Required

SA9113T Axle Seal Installer

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the right tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the intermediate drive shaft.
4. Using the SA9113T, remove the axle seal.

Installation Procedure





Important: Prior to installing the seal, inspect the SA9113T for nicks or burrs that may damage the seal lip.

1. Using the SA9113T, install the axle seal. Ensure the seal is lined up with the bore during installation.
2. Install the intermediate drive shaft.
3. Install the wheel and tire.
4. Lower the vehicle.
