Radio Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) center trim bezel.
2. Remove the radio screws.




3. Disconnect the radio electrical connectors and the antenna. Slightly push the antenna lead toward the radio to relieve tension on the internal fingers. Then pull back on the spring-loaded locking ring and remove the connector from the radio.
4. Remove the radio.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the radio in the vehicle.




2. Connect the electrical connectors and the antenna.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the radio screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

4. Install the I/P center trim bezel.
5. Set up the radio. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
