REAR WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSION IDENTIFICATION







The following information will help determine transmission year and type. This is extremely important when purchasing parts. The Identification tag is located above the pan rail on the driver's side of transmission. (See Figures 1 & 2)

The Model number is printed on the identification tag. Many times the model number will be difficult to read. It may be necessary to identify the transmission by the stamped serial number located at the bottom of the tag.
