1. Check that pad thickness is no less than .039 inch. Replace pads if thinner.
2. Raise and support vehicle and remove front wheel.
3. Remove caliper pin on subpin side, Figs. 5 and 6.
4. Pivot caliper up and support, leaving brake hose connected.
5. Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shim(s) and 4 support plates.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
