Disassembly and Assembly


1. Remove caliper as previously described.
2. Remove two cylinder slide bushings, four dust boots and two collars.
3. Using screwdriver, remove cylinder boot set ring and boot.
4. Place a piece of cloth between piston and cylinder and, using compressed air, remove piston from cylinder.
5. Using screwdriver, remove piston seal from brake cylinder.
6. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to all movable components.
7. Install piston seal and piston in cylinder.
8. Install cylinder boot and set ring in cylinder.
9. Install collar and dust boot in caliper, ensuring that boots are secured firmly to each brake cylinder groove.
10. Install bushing into boots, ensuring boots are secured firmly to each bushing groove.
