Roof Headlining (5 - Door)
REMOVAL1. w/ Rear No.1 seat:
REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT
2. Except van:
REMOVE REAR NO.2 SEAT
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Using a screwdriver, remove the back door scuff plate.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
4. REMOVE SLIDE DOOR SCUFF PLATE
5. REMOVE REAR LH QUARTER TRIM PANEL
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the speaker grille.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the quarter trim cover.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear side trim board cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
d. Remove the luggage room light, then disconnect the connector.
e. Remove the slide door courtesy light, then disconnect the connector.
f. Remove the 2 screws, clip and rear LH quarter trim panel.
6. REMOVE RH QUARTER TRIM PANEL
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the speaker grille.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the air inlet grille.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear side trim board cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
d. Remove the slide door courtesy light, then disconnect the connector.
e. Remove the 2 screws, clip and RH quarter trim panel.
7. REMOVE N0.2 REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter pillar cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
c. Remove the 2 screws and No.2 rear window side garnish.
8. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH
a. w/ Rear No.1 seat belt:
Remove the No.1 rear seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the 2 clips and rear window side garnish.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
9. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side rail garnishes.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATES
11. REMOVE COWL SIDE BOARDS
12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVERS
13. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. w/ Tweeter speaker:
Disconnect the connector.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
14. w/o Power slide door:
REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
a. Remove the front seat outer floor anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the lower center pillar garnish.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
15. w/Power slide door:
REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
a. Remove the front seat outer belt floor anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the lower center pillar garnish.
c. Disconnect the connector.
16. REMOVE UPPER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
a. Remove the front seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Remove the clip and upper center pillar garnish as shown in the illustration.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
17. REMOVE COAT HOOKS
18. REMOVE ASSIST GRIPS
19. REMOVE SUN VISORS AND HOLDERS
20. w/ Sliding roof:
REMOVE SLIDING ROOF OPENING TRIM MOULDING
21. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX
a. XLE, LE grade:
Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 lenses.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. CE grade:
Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Remove the 3 screws and roof console box, then disconnect the connectors.
22. REMOVE REAR N0.1 ROOM LIGHT
a. XLE, LE grade:
Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 lenses.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. CE grade:
Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Remove the 2 screws and rear No.1 room light, then disconnect the connector.
23. REMOVE REAR N0.2 ROOM LIGHT
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 4 screws and rear No.2 room light, then disconnect the connector.
24. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the heater control panel.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and roof headlining.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
