With Rear No.2 Seat For LH Side
DISASSEMBLY1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY CENTER
2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOOK HOLDER
a. Remove the 2 screws and 2 tonneau cover hook holders.
3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER
a. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 claws and remove the 2 rear seatback covers.
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSEMBLY
a. Release the 4 rubber bands on the backside of the rear seatback board carpet assembly.
b. Disengage the 11 clips and remove the rear seatback board carpet assembly.
5. REMOVE RECLINING COVER PROTECTOR RH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
b. Remove the screw.
c. Remove the reclining cover protector RH as shown in the illustration.
6. REMOVE CENTER SEAT HINGE COVER UPPER RH
a. Remove the screw.
b. Disengage the claw and remove the center seat hinge cover upper RH as shown in the illustration.
7. REMOVE SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER LH
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the seat track upper rail cover LH.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
8. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the screw.
b. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the "torx" bolt.
c. Remove the 3 bolts and center seatback assembly.
9. REMOVE RECLINING COVER PROTECTOR LH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
b. Remove the screw and reclining cover protector LH.
10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK MOULDING LH
a. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the "torx" bolts and rear seatback hinge sub-assembly center.
b. Remove the 3 screws and rear seatback moulding LH.
11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK MOULDING RH
a. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the 2 "torx" bolts and rear seatback hinge sub-assembly center.
b. Remove the 3 screws and rear seatback moulding RH.
12. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the 2 "torx" bolts.
b. Remove the nut, rear seat center armrest support and rear seat armrest assembly center.
13. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat headrest support (LH side).
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
15. REMOVE NO.1 SEATBACK COVER
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and remove the No.1 seatback cover.
16. REMOVE NO.2 CENTER SEATBACK COVER
a. Remove the 2 screws and No.2 center seatback cover.
17. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
18. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING LH
a. Remove the 3 screws.
b. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat cushion moulding LH as shown in the illustration.
19. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER LH
a. Remove the screw.
b. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the vertical adjuster bracket cover LH as shown in the illustration.
20. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE COVER LH
a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the vertical adjuster bracket cover LH as shown in the illustration.
21. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING REAR LH
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear seat cushion moulding rear LH.
22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the 2 "torx" bolts.
b. Remove the hog rings.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and separate type rear seat cushion assembly.
23. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the hooks and remove the hog rings and rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly.
24. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Remove the hog rings and separate type rear seat cushion cover.
25. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION PAD
26. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY INNER
27. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
28. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seatback lock striker cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
29. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Disconnect the rear seat reclining control cable and remove the rear seat lock control lever subassembly.
30. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat headrest support (LH side).
31. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
32. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL UPPER
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seatback lock bezel upper.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
33. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
a. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor anchor side of the rear center seat outer belt assembly.
b. Remove the 2 clips.
c. Remove the bolt and rear seat belt hook.
d. Disengage the hooks and remove the hog rings and separate type rear seatback cover with pad.
34. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER
a. Remove the hog rings and separate type rear seatback cover.
35. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK PAD
36. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
37. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover as shown in the illustration.
38. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
a. Remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
39. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER LH
a. Remove the screw.
b. Disengage the claw and remove the rear seat reclining cover inner LH.
40. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER NO.1
a. Remove the screw and rear seat cover No.1.
41. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER NO.2
a. Remove the screw and rear seat cover No.2.
42. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE
a. Disconnect the 2 cables and remove the rear seat reclining control cable.
43. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the 2 "torx" bolts.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback frame subassembly.
44. REMOVE RECLINING CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 E-rings and 2 springs.
b. Remove the bolt, nut and reclining control link subassembly.
45. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
a. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), remove the 3 "torx" bolts.
b. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T55), remove the 2 "torx" bolts and rear seatback frame sub-assembly lower.
46. REMOVE FOLD SEAT CUSHION FRAME NO.1
a. Remove the 4 nuts and 2 fold seat cushion frames No.1.
47. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE
a. Move the rear seat track assembly outer and rear seat track assembly inner fully forward by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
b. Using a hexagon wrench 1.5 mm (0.059 in.), push down the 2 handle stoppers as shown in the illustration and remove the rear seat track adjusting handle.
48. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY OUTER

REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY INNER
2. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY OUTER
3. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE
4. INSTALL FOLD SEAT CUSHION FRAME NO.1
a. Install the 2 fold seat cushion frames No.1 with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
a. Temporarily install the rear seatback frame subassembly lower with the 5 "torx" bolts.
b. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T55), tighten the 2 "torx" bolts.
Torque: 80 N.m (816 kgf.cm, 59 ft.lbf)
c. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), tighten the 3 "torx" bolts.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
6. INSTALL RECLINING CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the reclining control link sub-assembly with the bolt and 4 nuts.
Torque: Bolt
21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)
Nut
42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
b. Install the 2 springs and 2 new E-rings.
7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Temporarily install the rear seatback frame subassembly with the 2 bolts and 2 "torx" bolts.
b. Tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 55 N.m (516 kgf.cm, 41 ft.lbf)
c. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), tighten the 2 "torx" bolts.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
8. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE
9. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER NO.2
10. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER NO.1
11. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER LH
12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
13. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
14. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK PAD
16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with new hog rings.
NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
a. Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.
b. Install the hook and new hog rings.
c. Install the rear seat belt hook with the bolt.
Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf.cm, 53 in.lbf)
d. Install the 2 clips.
e. Install the floor anchor side of the rear seat belt assembly outer center with the bolt.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
f. Check if the ELR locks.
NOTE: The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.
1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL UPPER
19. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
20. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
21. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER
23. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
24. INSTALL REAR SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY INNER
25. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION PAD
26. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad with new hog rings.
NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
27. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
28. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Temporarily install the separate type rear seat cushion assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 "torx" bolts.
b. Tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
c. Install new hog rings.
d. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), tighten the 2 "torx" bolts.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)

a. Temporarily install the rear seat armrest assembly center with the nut and rear seat center armrest support.
b. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), install the rear seat armrest assembly center with the 2 "torx" bolts.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)
39. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK MOULDING RH
a. Install the rear seatback moulding RH with the 3 screws.
b. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly center with the "torx" bolts.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)
40. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK MOULDING LH
a. Install the rear seatback moulding LH with the 3 screws.
b. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly center with the "torx" bolts.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)
41. INSTALL RECLINING COVER PROTECTOR LH
42. INSTALL CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Temporarily install the center seatback assembly with the 3 bolts and "torx" bolt.
b. Install the 3 bolts.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)
c. Using a "torx" socket wrench (T45), install the "torx" bolt.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)
d. Install the screw.
